These speaker/lights rank near the top on my hipster tech list! The JBL speakers sound great and the LED’s come on bright (unlike my CFL bulbs that have to warm up) and produce no heat and are more energy efficient. I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker but didn’t want another item cluttering up my kitchen counter top. I am able to listen to music from my iPad, iPod and Android phone. The app is simple & intuitive and lets you dim the lights and adjust volume control. I love showing them off to friends and guests….everyone raves about them.

The sound on these bulbs is wonderful. The directions are very straight forward on how to sync and use the bulbs. There are multiple sound and light settings. We have a total of 5 in our dental office and have been pleasantly surprised by the quality!

It didm’t work right out of the box and that was initially frustrating. After a quick email to the company, I received a rapid reply to return the product to them so they could inspect and send back a new set to me. It turns out I needed to use an inexpensive, extension piece from Home Depot/Lowes/etc so that the unit could actually come in contact with the inside of the light (this is apparently a relatively common occurrence and if you have a problem with it not working, I suggest starting there). A minor annoyance, but it turned out fine. More important to me, I received an unprompted phone call from Alex at the company to walk through the issue and help me problem solve it after I had sent in the lights. To me, that is rare and outstanding customer service. He held me on the line while he consulted a colleague and was able to determine that I need the extension. So now, they work fantastic and the ability to quickly set up a “whole house” audio is achievable. Don’t expect it to sound like a superior stereo system, it is missing a bit of bass, but it isn’t any worse than my sound bar with bluetooth. Moreover, I can use my phone to control the volume on a room by room basis, really cool stuff. So, overall, I think this is a great product to put background music into each of your rooms on a relatively cheap basis without tearing out wall/ceiling etc for wiring. I will definitely be buying more satellites. If you do buy this product and need help, call their office in Alpharetta GA and ask fro Alex (but first try the extension trick). Super guy and great service.

Works well. Very convenient to get sound in room. Needs to have dongle for subwoofer to fully enjoy.
